mallory 0 Posted August 7, 2013 Hi, I have installed 4 analogue cameras and a Power Telecomm Jupiter PDVR 4500. This DVR is a Hybrid Pentaplex H264 unit which I acquired 2nd hand. It can support 4 analogue cameras and 4 IP cameras. I'm having a number of issues with the DVR: DCHP does not work, I have to use a static IP of 192.168.0.223. Both Webviewer and Netviewer appear to "connect" but I do not get any streamed video. The DVR is set to motion detect 24/7. It appears to be motion detecting and the red record light appears, but there are no recordings made to hard disc. (It has been formatted & initialised) The Linux version is 2.6.21 pti. No one at Power Telecomm is responding to my emails. They appear to be a OEM company so appear to only deal with resellers rather than end users. Does anyone know of the PDVR 4500? If so is it marketed under other brands & model numbers? Where can I get the latest firmware for the Jupiter PDVR-4500? It appears to use a PowerPC processor on the main board.
