Surveillance Tech 0 Posted August 13, 2013 Hey guys, I have ran across a problem I can't seem to figure out. I work at a casino so we have numerous monitors and cameras. On certain monitors one camera shot (we will call it camera shot 1) will come up with horizontal lines waving across the screen. The camera shot seems to come up perfectly clear on other monitors and other camera shots come up clear on the monitors that show horizontal wavy lines with camera shot 1 on them. So I don't think it is a problem with the monitors or with the actual camera shot. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Or what might be causing the problem. Thanks! aibudo 0 Posted August 13, 2013 Maybe a "ground loop" issue. Very easy to eliminate that as your issue for about $20.00 or so.
Surveillance Tech 0 Posted August 14, 2013 That what i thought at first, but it were a ground loop on the camera wouldn't each monitor have the same results? And if were a ground loop on the monitor wouldn't each camera that I pull up on that monitor have horizontal lines?
joseph.chen0312 0 Posted September 3, 2013 It may interfered by some heavy electricity arround pipeline. You can try another cable to hook up both directly. Then to see how it is.
