Dr X PTZ Cam 0 Posted August 19, 2013 Hi Folks, I purchased this PT cam about 8 months ago just to cover 1 small room. I am a installer of CCTV Systems. I know this is just a cheap Pan/Tilt Cam, but it fit the bill for the application. Night Owl States that is is designed to work with there DVR. How ever it will work with most any DVR or PTZ Controller as per the typical protocol. When I installed this cam, in the box came a little card that had controller codes for use with a PTZ Controller Joystick. I have lost that card with the codes on it. Night Owl support states there is no such card that they provide with this cam and also stated that it is just a basic pan tilt camera with out any other functions, but they are wrong. In fact the cam has 4 tours and 16 presets per tour. Night Owl does not even make this cam and there support sucks! My problem is that there is a data glitch between tours and I need to do a factory reset to clear all existing tours and presets. I am sure someone on this forum has installed or sold this cam and know what I am talking about. If anyone has a copy of that little controller code card, please help me out as I have exhausted myself trying to find it on the net. Thanks, TI in Miami... Surveillance Solutions Co.
