n0fx 0 Posted August 30, 2013 I downloaded the TFTP guide from Dahua's website (www.dahuasecurity.com/download/TFTP%20u ... ructor.pdf) I read it over but I couldn't locate the armboot-x.bin.img and update.img files. I tried to extract the firmware upgrade for my machine, the DVR1604HF-A but inside the bin, the two files aren't in there. (file: General_DVRxx04HF-X_Eng_P_V2.616.0000.0.R.20130403). I have no issue connecting it via RS232 to it and I can see the DVR boot up, I just can't find the files to update it with. Do I have to get them from my distributor or can I get it from Dahua direct? I already know that Dahua doesn't give a **** about it's customers, since I've emailed them with no responses. Can I download the two .img files from their site or do you guys know another site that I can get the files from? My DVR has no video coming out of the VGA slot, so I'm assuming that the firmware is hosed, as I tried to reset the resolution back to the low res but it still doesn't work (holding shift key while booting it up). I'm returning the DVR back to the dealer but it would be nice if I can get it working by trying to repair the firmware for this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
