kmax1940 0 Posted September 3, 2013 Hello, I searched but did not find any info on embeding the video from a dahua nvr into your own web page. Does anyone know how this is done? Thanks
buellwinkle 0 Posted September 3, 2013 I posted on my blog on how to do this from a Dahua camera, but I would imagine if you have the RTSP URL for the NVR, it would work the same way. The first step is figuring out how to get the live stream via RTSP using an easy to use program to test like VLC.
kmax1940 0 Posted September 3, 2013 Thanks. When you browse out to the local ip of the nvr... It shows you the video in that page... I thought you could just take the code from that page... And maybe change the local ip in the code... to their static ip.... and it would work that way... We are going to install one tomorrow... so I dont have it to test on yet.. Was just trying to get a headstart on it. thanks
buellwinkle 0 Posted September 3, 2013 I would imagine that it can stream via RTSP any single camera channel, just find the URL for it, it's been discussed several times. This is totally different than what you are thinking of that's the HTTP URL to view from a browser. Then you just need software to re-stream RTSP to RTMP to put on a website.
