iwatchlive 0 Posted December 19, 2005 Anyone every hear of getting interference over the water when trying to make a wireless network. I have this guard house that has slow ass dsl and wants to share te T1 in the clubhouse instead of being on dsl to view the DVRs. The one board member of the community is strongly against it, why? Thanks ADAM!
WirelessEye 0 Posted December 20, 2005 Over water should be fine.... metal buildings and trees are your biggest concerns.
mfennell 0 Posted December 20, 2005 with mid to large bodies of standing water you can have issues if your fresnel zone is touching the water. Can you go higher on both or either ends of your link?
jisaac 0 Posted December 20, 2005 ya like he said make sure the fresnal zone is not hitting th water. Make sure your points are mounted higher and that should not be a problem.
