Kolcars 0 Posted September 6, 2013 Hi, I have an old CCD Camera that came with a b/w cctv and both had matching antennas. I lost both the tv and the antennas so now all I have is the Camera. I wanted to try and get it connected somehow but I am lost on where to start since I have little knowledge on the subject. What I know: The camera has an antenna input with a female coax connection. (it is about the same size as a coax F-type connector and I couldn't find anything else) It also has a dc 12v input for power. What I have: I have a PCIE Hughes Hinm P1 DirectPC Satellite Link Card ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hughes-Hinm-P1- DirectPC-Satellite-Link-Card-Free-Shipping-/221252894898 ) I have an Airlink 101 Super G Access Point with an sma antenna http://airlink101.com/products/ap431w.php I have a Linksys Wireless A/G Game Adapter (router?) http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/adapters/WGA54AG I was unable to find the camera/system anywhere online. I want to be able to connect the camera wirelessly, maybe with the devices that I have. I am open to purchasing adapters for a few bucks. I found this : http://wifiovercoax.mcleodnet.com/ , where the person setsup a wifi network over coax? Maybe I can connect the router directly to the camera and have my computer receive the signals through the main router/modem? Maybe I get adapters to sma and have the signals sent over wifi? I'm not sure, please advise.
