algilson 0 Posted September 12, 2013 On the front of my house is mounted a Dahua IPC-HFW3200S which records the driveway and my vehicle. The camera worked great until I flashed the firmware to version 2.210.0001.0.R, build : 2013-05-17. After the firmware update, the image seems very dark: It used to be a beautiful image that allowed me to see my vehicle, etc. I've tweaked some of the settings which have made a bit of difference, but it's still not ideal: I've set the camera back to it's default settings and reconfigured everything and it's still the same scenario. So... does anyone have any ideas on how to get that image back? The daytime image is fine. All of the IR's are lit up at night. Can someone send me an older (2012?) based firmware that I can flash the camera back to? I'm running NTSC if that helps.
buellwinkle 0 Posted September 12, 2013 I flashed to the same firmware as you on my HFW3300C and the image stayed the same but when I started playing with the new features like HLC, it made the image very dark, so I turned that stuff off and it went back to normal. algilson 0 Posted September 16, 2013 As an update, I upgraded the firmware in the camera to 2.211.0000.0.R, build : 2013-07-26 and the image has corrected itself again. Whew.
