akshark 0 Posted September 19, 2013 Hi, experts, need some advice. I have this old Speco DVR (about 10yrs old). I accidently deleted my administration account and can no longer access the internal server to change I/p addresses and such. The factory login was owner/owner. I can still access the server using operator/operator and guest/guest as user ID's and passwords. but the admin functions are not accessible. I have contacted Speco and they have suggested 'admin' as the user ID and 9999 and 1234 as passwords but to no avail. There must be some way to access the admin functions with a master password. I have even removed the cmos battery from the circuit board thinking this would erase everything and reset things but even after doing this the internal server still retains the correct time and dates?????
