Reset PTZ Controller to Factory. Problems ensued. SOLVED

Recommended Posts

EDIT: So I solved the problem, go to the bottom if other people have this problem!

Hey guys. So at my work we have a PTZ Controller: KBDPTZ1.

It was working perfectly fine until we did a factory reset of it (we were trying to redo the controller calibration, only now did i figure out how to do it w/o a factory reset.)

I am unsure as to what settings it needs to be put on, but it will not let me go to ID 002, which is our main camera. The "DVR WKEY" is stuck at ID 001, and won't change.

I shouldn't have to change the DVR options, and should just have to reset some options on the PTZ, but I can't figure out what.

Some of the changeable options are:

Control ID:

DVR Speed (which I think is 4.8k):

Comm: RS485 or RS422 (no idea on this)

Am I looking at this wrong?

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks!

SOLVED: I was looking at the wrong options. I needed to go to the WDS PEL-D 2.4k (default) and go to the 1+Set Options and change the PEL-D to PEL-P and the 2.4k to 4.8K. After that it worked. From that menu I can go to ID002, and could use the camera.
