need guidance help on 16 cam nvr

2mp each

hopefully running at 30fps

 

before we begin, I know nothing about storage spaces for ip cameras.

I build computers of all sizes for family and friends and for my obsessions.

 

where should I begin?

what thread should I read on recommendations?

 

program wise, all I need it to do is record, and if I need to look at something, I can rewind and view.

 

no ptz required.
