casualed 0 Posted September 27, 2013 Hello, guys! There`s situation: Some of our public transportation bus drivers are taking money from passengers and don`t give ticket to them and stealing money. I am looking for the simplest surveillance solution to avoid this and make bus as secure place for passengers, too. My idea: IP dome camera with SD card connected to bus main generator via power supply. The problem is uneasy to manage the video - need to take off cover of camera to get SD card and bring it to the office to check etc. This is not needed to see live stream or check the situations every day. Only just as a preventive measure. This costs approx 285/eur camera + sd card + installation materials + work. Is there any solutions and ideas? Standart minivideorecorders on front window is not a solution.
adamxp12 0 Posted October 12, 2013 This might be overkill but have you looked at the dedicated micros tranvu http://www.securitystoreusa.com/Dedicated-Micros-TransVu-xpress-DVR-4ch-30pps-250g-p/dd-tve1250a4.htm Expensive but it can do 4 ip and analogue cameras and works with the dm observer software so its easy to backup and even view remotely while the bus is moving

SectorSecurity 0 Posted November 27, 2013 I would suggest spending some good money and go with a solution that will work and help reduce theft, and make passengers feel more secure. Axis makes some great mobile products perfect for deployment on a bus.
