nenea dani 0 Posted September 30, 2013 Dear Sirs, I began construction of a long range IR camera. I bought a lens 25x10MGEP Rainbow, a huge housing with ventilation and heating. I also PTZ mechanism / variable speed/RS485/electronic boards and others. I chose Watec 902H2 Ultimate because I'm interested in a high sensitivity regarding IR(808-830nm). I will soon purchase a laser zoom motorized illuminator or two narrow LED illuminators. I intend to do at least 1km car reconnaissance or maybe human. In this sector CCD / no sens-up/ up to 5-700$ you can show better alternatives for Watec 902H2 Ultimate? I heard this Watec are noisy and I'm afraid.Any advice is welcome.
