kmax1940 0 Posted October 7, 2013 I am trying to use wowza for live streaming to iOS but it is VERY inconsistent. They ask me to set the "keyframe" to 1... In the dahua camera settings I see an "I-Frame Interval". Is that the same thing as keyframe?
hbezlls 0 Posted October 8, 2013 I-frame interval is used for encoding the video stream, which is how long the camera takes one I-frame. I-frame is used in H264 compression.

ak357 0 Posted October 8, 2013 Do you know how to set the KEYframe on these cameras? Thanks Follow simple logic relate frame rate to key frame example your camera set at 15 fr/sec then set keyframe 1 per 15 frames understand ?
kmax1940 0 Posted October 8, 2013 Thanks... honestly I dont fully understand. The guys at wowza are saying that since this camera does not have a "keyframe" setting, we can find out what our keyframe is by dividing I-Frame Interval (or GOP) by FPS. I-Frame Interval = 10 FPS = 5 Keyframe = 2 That sound right to you? Thanks again
