thewireguys 3 Posted October 16, 2013 Do you have any specific questions? Top quality product with the best support in the business. They have a end to end solution from the cameras to the VMS. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other brands like Genetec, Milestone..... but Avigilon does what 95% of customers need better then any other system. thewireguys 3 Posted October 16, 2013 Yes im looking a cctv system that will work at night with out the need for an external light ??? unless you are using thermal cameras you will need either IR or white light.
icom102 0 Posted October 17, 2013 Yes and the Avigilon has IRs but are they good enough?
thewireguys 3 Posted October 17, 2013 Need way more information before I can help make recommendations if there is enough IR on the cameras for your needs. FYI most of the time you will have much better results with separate IR illuminators if you are trying to illuminate large outdoor areas. This goes with ANY camera. Kawboy12R 0 Posted October 20, 2013 Impressive adaptation. What's with the jacket and palm trees though? ??? Canadian joke. It doesn't seem right to need a warm jacket anywhere palm trees grow although I know it hits near freezing at times in some places.
EarlT 0 Posted October 20, 2013 Can i use an Avigilon camera with a different make nvr? Yes, all of their current generation support onvif. As long as your NVR will handle ONVIF your good to go.
thewireguys 3 Posted October 20, 2013 Can i use an Avigilon camera with a different make nvr? If it supports ONVIF profile S it should work but why would you want to? Also your questions are to broad. What make NVR are you looking at?
