shravank30 0 Posted October 17, 2013 Hi Our vendor has installed 6 Nos. Almet Analog CCTV Cameras which are supposed to be 700 TVL However, there is no model number printed on the body of the camera The box and packing has unfortunately been discarded The recording for the cameras is being done on a DVR with all 16 channels D1 recording capability Is there any method by seeing the size of the recorded file or any other method to ascertain whether we have actually been supplied with 700 TVL Cameras ? If it can be done through the size of the recorded file, then what should be the size of the 30 minute recording. Thanks for advising
Securame 0 Posted October 17, 2013 You don't have an easy way to t verify it. You would have to open the cameras and dismantle them to see what sensor it has; and even then you would probably be unable to tell apart a sensor from another. Recording size has nothing to do with camera's TVLs.
