si.carter 0 Posted October 20, 2013 Hi We have installed a DVR for a customer who only has a HDMI cable from the location of the recorder to his TV upstairs and it is not feasible to run any more cables as they are plastered into the walls etc. The customer would like the audio from the DVR to play through his TV but the HDMI socket from the DVI is only carrying video and not audio. Does anyone have any ideas of a workaround as I cannot see there are any devices which will convert the audio to digital and "inject" it into the HDMI cable? Thanks in advance Simon

si.carter 0 Posted October 21, 2013 Thanks for this MindTwist Had spent ages trying to find a device like this (ovbiously not hard enough ) Has anyone used one of these / does anyone know if these devices are fairly reliable for the money? Securame 0 Posted October 21, 2013 I am sure they must be reliable. Not cheap, but I think they should not give you any headaches on the long run.
