Mrtgreedy 0 Posted November 8, 2013 Hello all. New to this forum. I work for a company involved in the canal/river network and we have an issue with intense glare from the water's surface reflecting onto our CCTV camera's at certain parts of the day/year. Is there anything that can be done to combat this issue? Or maybe a camera that is more suitable for the application? We mostly use PTZ from a range of suppliers but mostly Samsung. Many Thanks
Horizon 0 Posted November 10, 2013 Hello Mrtgreedy I don't know where you'd find one, but a polarised lens would help (similar to some sunglasses): http://www.polarization.com/water/water.html I've never tried using them, but it could be worthwhile for you to look into this.
