imweasel2 0 Posted November 8, 2013 I am curious to see if anyone has come across this. Record video on a dvr unit. Telnet into dvr unit and alter data to change the date time stamp on either playback or exported video. This would be on a zmodo dvr. How difficult would this be? I'm guessing extremely difficult and nigh impossible if the dvr actually embeds the date time stamp in the video, but I'm doubting that.

The date/timestamp ARE embedded on the video, so it surely would be a heck of a job to modify it after the recording has been done... Deleting the video, changing the date/time on the DVR when the reccording is done, I would see that easier.
