Samsung SCP-2120P distorted video image

Hi there,

 

A few days ago I bought a cctv system from samsung and I got some issues with the SCP-2120P. The image is really really bad, you cannot distinguish anything, there are black and white lines everywhere and flickering. All the other cameras I ordered are working just fine except both of my SCP-2120p.

 

Can this be a defect? Or is there something that I am missing when installing them?

 

I followed the manual when I did the setup for each of the cameras.

If you can see the image, and it is just "bad" looking, perhaps you have a problem with the termination of the coax. Or, it could be that you don't have enough power going to them. They take more power than most regular cameras that are not PTZ. What are you using for a power supply? Have you tried bench testing it?

I tested the power supply with all the other camera that I have.

 

One of them is the SCP-2370 (outdoor camera), this consumes a lot more power than the scp-2120 which is an indoor PTZ.

I don't know what else to do, I pretty much tested everything. I even bought a pre made cabe to make sure it was not that.

 

the power supply is a 24VAC @ 2Amp
