for a public transportation purpose, of course there will be a camera and a mobile DVR/NVR install in the bus. here is my question

 

1. How to integrate the driving speed in the video recording?

2. Is it possible to auto transfer "today" record to server when the bus reach the bus terminal, let say the terminal with WIFI coverage? or any live transfer to server solution?

3. which brand/manufacturer has the complete solution? if require integrate, how to do it?

4. Any better recommendation to make the system better or any other feature can be include?

we have used Seon out of Canada for some bus projects. There are several firms with the whole setup.

 

I never got that into it as wiring up the buses was a pain.

Look for vehicle CCTV surveillance systems that have CANbus and GPS interfaces.

 

CANbus will allow you to use vehicle telemetry information as metadata for CCTV with GPS offering mapping, location & speed.

 

If you have G-Force sensors this can also provide alarm activation for sudden braking or impacts.

Professional equipment always costs more!

 

Next step is to check that the vehicles you are using have use CANBus system.

 

Ask the distributor to supply you with a demo unit and try it out to confirm it meets your requirements.
