Matt132 0 Posted November 19, 2013 Hi everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Matthew and stay just north of Inverness. I'm really excited about reading through this forum to gain some tips from more experienced guys. I'm the type of guy that can turn my hand to anything, and to a certain extent a bit of a profectionist. I'm interested in learning about the best types of camera's for outside the house that can shoot day and night with an option to zoom. Want the clearest quality picture poss at an affordable price. I have a dome camera just now outside but its really poor quality and you cant make out a lot of images there that blured. I just bought a qvis 8ch 1t dvr and cant set it up with my Samsung android phone as when I type www.qvisicloud.co.uk it says page not found? Is here any other software I can download? Also I want to learn about leads connection etc as I would like to link in 4 cameras to my dvr but if each camera needs a power supply lead and video lead running back to the box from all 4 corners of my house it seem a mess and a lot of wires!? Is there a way to link all cameras in the loft and then run to the dvr? Im very novice at this but want to learn and do a neat job. Any advice, links etc would be much appreciated.
