koutsikos 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Hi! It has been a long time since my last visit in the forum. I found VPON cards over the internet and I got in touch with them. I am going to order samples for testing them in my facilities. What I am asking is your opinion about linux based cards and if the VPON cards are worth the time and the money to spend. eyeonutech 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Of all of the LINUX DOM based units, the VPON is the most feature rich. The picture quality is good also. As long as you use the components they recommend, the systems are EXTREMLY easy to set up and are stable (no linux knowledge required.) As far as your time is concerned (if you're refering to time to setup a system,) I don't think it's possible to get a system up and running faster than with a DOM.
