Will the same cameras work on a different system?

I have a friend of mine who bought this unit and installed it:

He wants to change the DVR unit, since the hard drive has died twice now. Will another brand of DVR work with the same cameras from the QC448? The current camera cables he ran around his store have BNC connectors. I think he is trying to keep from having to run all new cables.

Hi. yes if BNC analog (which is DVR you have listed)

 

only thing to look out for is region ..... PAL or NTCS if your in the states NTSC
