ESC-IPC1: Mobile App?

Recommended Posts

This is my first run @ the EPC cameras. Installed 4 ESC-IPC1. Web view works great, but the only Android/iPhone app that works (vMEye) dosnt seem to play nice. I found vMEyePro is a bit more stable that standard vMEye.

My problem is I have two cameras that do not work consistently on mobile. It either does not connect, or when it does the image is degraded (RGB squares everywhere, only shows the moving pieces of the frame, etc). Any thoughts?

The free pro app is definitely the better one of all the Meye's. Make sure your sub stream is set to a reasonable stream. For the NVR system I used it with, if I can remember correctly I had sub stream set to D1, 15fps @ 798- I think. That can actually still be a bit high for streaming on the phone app. You might even try CIF at 5fps @ 128 or similar. Maybe try a gdmss for andriod or idmss for iphone app and see if that'll work- an even better free app. All else fails, sometimes the phone needs a reboot to clear things up too.
