Mustangs24 0 Posted November 27, 2013 Im interested in putting a camera out in the woods that can be viewed live, also if possible can pan,tilt, and zoom. The main concern is how would a camera receive power out in the woods. Secondly, how long would the range be as far as the signal from the camera. Please respond if anyone has any advice for me! SectorSecurity 0 Posted November 27, 2013 To do what you are talking about can be done, and it can be done in several ways, if you want truely wireless with remote view and remote power and PTZ and all that, get out your wallet, you are looking at 10 000$ or more. Now depending on the distance say if you want to locate said camera in the woods 500ft from your house then you can cable it all back to your house, do a search its been done a couple times on here, and one person had great pics to go with it. For remote power and remote view on a budget, you would need some deep cycle batteries, a solar charger, a router, an IP camera and connectors. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
