Hikvision external 940nm IR support

I would like to add 940nm IR illuminators around some Hikvision cameras. Does anyone know if Hikvision DS-2CD2032 or DS-2CD2132 can make use of 940nm illuminators or are they limited to 850nm IRs?

You will probably just have to try this for yourself. As a first approximation, the sensitivity at 940nm is probably about half that of 850nm.

Bingo, it's a big difference You can always bounce hidden 850nm lights off objects to light the area you're after

Thanks for your suggestions. I think I might as well just go with the 850nm IR units
