Help with this DVR and who made it

Hi,

 

I was given a DVR and I have tryed to get in to the menu to format the drives but the password is set and the person who owned it does not know it or remember who installed it.

 

here is a pic of the front and back

 

 

there is a label on the bottom with looks like a serial number and "baek 8016"

 

or does any one know how to reset the admin password. I have tried 888888 but no luck

Have you tried cracking that bad boy open and taking a look inside? Usually there is useful info inside such as serial and part numbers, if not the name of the manufacture.

 

If you want to try and reset it look inside for a battery and pull it, leave it out for 24 hours and see if that fixes things.
