Interested in computer network intercom - Not CCTV Related

I'm trying to figure out a way to stream multiple, combined, (think mixer) audio and maybe even a video signal alongside.

 

I'm just looking into the theory & practice, I'd like to stick with linux.... android is next preferred, but if there's a good Windows option I'd like to see that too.
