blindguy 0 Posted December 3, 2013 I have recently purchased a defender system. It was fun at first do have cameras with remote access ect. I am ever becoming more and more frustrated with the motion. On the lowest setting it goes off for every little thing. At night the cameras often get set off by the minor pixelation do to the low light. this makes the email notifications pretty useless. Q-See is close enough in price that i would upgrade in a second if someone can confirm that shadows and squirrels a pixelation dont set the thing off every 2 minutes. I am not looking for anything for above $800 with a minimum of 8 channels and 4 cameras. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

lowpro 0 Posted December 4, 2013 You're going to need to install PIR Motion sensors. You'll have to purchase a dvr/nvr that has alarm in & outs. Do a search for PIR motion detectors. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
