Securame 0 Posted December 5, 2013 Those are not baluns, jus BNC connectors. Feel free to try and see if the image is good enough for you... The baluns you are looking for are on another castle.

RVT 0 Posted December 5, 2013 Those *are* baluns in the original post's link. Don't know why the first responder would have said that they were not. Just make sure that you keep the polarity matched on each end when you wire them up. Positive to positive and negative to negative.

Kawboy12R 0 Posted December 5, 2013 They do a similar connecting job to a real balun but don't have the BALance UNbalance circuitry like a real balun. Video will work but will look lousy.
tomcctv 190 Posted December 6, 2013 It also says this in link Product Description Materials: Plastic and zinc alloy or copper Short line equipment Adapter uses coaxial cable convert to camera CCTV BNC twisted-pair (with no balun) No electrical tap, splicing and crimping, but only a small screw driver Coaxial cable have a better capacity of resisting disturbance good transmission quality energy-saving, high reliability and easy to assemble
RVT 0 Posted December 6, 2013 So, the description is false when it says "Video Balun Connector". You have to consider the source though. Sorry.
