marcdj88 0 Posted December 6, 2013 Hi Everyone If any assistance could be provided would be greatly appreciated. I have a Dahua 32ch DVR at a remote location. We are connecting to it on our network at HO from a PC using PSS software, and from there displaying it on our Chairmans wall in his office. The problem is displaying it using a 9x9 channel matrix and auto cycling it on his TV. At the moment as far as we can work out the software will only display the channels you choose and wont cycle. Have tried playing around with tasks etc, however am unable to assign the DVR or the cameras to it. Please any help will be greatly appreciated.
shockwave199 0 Posted December 6, 2013 Do this- Create separate nine window tasks. To do this, open your first nine cameras only. Then go into scheme task config and make a new task called first nine. Make sure you choose 9 windows under the window field. Stream type whatever you want- main or extra. Leave all the other options as is. Click OK. Then add a new task called next nine with the same settings. Click OK. Do this as many times as you need for your windows configurations. Make sure all the task names save and show in the task name list, click ok and close that menu. Click ok again to save and close out completely. Next, right click on a camera window and choose 'add all windows to task' and in that sub menu, choose the 'first nine'. Then, close those nine cameras and open up the next nine. Right click on a window and choose 'add all windows to task' and in that sub menu choose 'next nine'. And so on, adding each nine windows to the different task names you created. Then go back into scheme task config, and go into the monitor project tab. Click new. Name the project whatever you wish, such as 32 channel tour. For mode, choose tour mode. In the task name, choose the first nine. Interval time whatever you want. Unfortunately it's only in intervals of minutes, so the shortest is one minute holds. If you want longer, choose a longer time such as 5, which is 5 minutes, etc. Then add it. Do the same, choosing your task names in succession and adding them to the project item window. Once done, click OK. Then click OK to exit out. Now, back in your main screen close all cameras. Then on the bottom click on task icon. You should see your task named '32 channel tour' as in my example. Click on that to start the tour. To end the tour, uncheck it. There ya go! Good luck.
