highjoke 0 Posted December 9, 2013 Hello, I have one analog camera and 15 hd-sdi cameras, all should be connected to hd-sdi dvr. Will analog camera work if connected to hd-sdi dvr, is any solution to make it work ? Don't want to deal with hybrid hd-sdi system, only one analog camera. Thank you in advance. SunnyKim 2 Posted December 10, 2013 In the DVR box, there should be an analog video decoder chip for analog camera and HD-SDI receiver chipset for HD camera. They are completely different chipsets. So we better switch your DVR box to Hybrid DVR box, or better buy an other HD-SDI camera replacing your analog camera.

highjoke 0 Posted December 23, 2013 Thank you ALL for your replies. I cannot convert this particular camera to hd-sdi, because the camera is a wireless elevator's one that goes with rg59 or cat5 cable w/video balun. But I've found a converter on ebay that will do a conversion from analog to hd-sdi signal.
