RIPTHREE 0 Posted December 13, 2013 I just purchased a Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I and need a power supply. I found that I had an old one that is DC12V/1.50A but noticed the power supply with jack connector for sale on the Hikvision site is DC12V/1.25A. Does it matter that the output of the one I have is .25A higher than what Hik offers? I plan to use a POE injector and run the ethernet about 80 feet from the power supply. SectorSecurity 0 Posted December 13, 2013 no having a higher amp will not affect anything as long as the voltage is correct, I recently installed several Hikvision with 12V 2A no issue.
