jgsx 0 Posted January 8, 2006 Hello. I am running a legit GV-600 with Geovision ver 6. I am trying to use the Remote Playback Client. No computers can ever connect to the sever through it. What service or program do I need to enable or install on the server to support this? All computers are on a local network, and all are running Windows XP SP2. Thanks! scottj 0 Posted January 9, 2006 You need to setup the RPB Server and open up select ports (over WAN). The RPB Server can be set to automatically startup with windows as well. Scottj

Scottj How do I setup the RPB server? I can't find an installer for it. This is all over a lan so there should be no port issues (No firewalls).
scottj 0 Posted January 9, 2006 What version are you using? Scottj Scratch that, I read the above post again. Go to the Geo folder under Program Files (or wherever you installed it) and scroll through until you find RPBSvr icon (red and blue). Execute it and click on Setup. This is where you can start the server on windows startup by entering in your password/user etc. Scottj
