nberger 0 Posted December 18, 2013 Looking to buy a system with 4 POE cameras and an 8 channel NVR. I bought the Swann system from Costco, but returned it after a camera was dead on arrival and customer service wasn't helpful. I am trying to keep the purchase <1k. I have seen several posts that say you can find HikVision and others in my price range. However, I haven't been able to find these in my price range. Can someone PM me recommended places to purchase? ssnapier 0 Posted December 19, 2013 Do you want fixed lenses (usually close to 4mm) or varifocal lenses? If you go with fixed lenses you can get awfully close to $1000 for that setup, but I just looked at my stuff and I can... well, let me stop... PM on the way.
