houstonr 0 Posted December 22, 2013 Hi guys, I installed a h.264 DVR about 4 months ago and I recently learned that you can access the cameras from your iPhone. I've looked at most of the posts that relate to me on this forum but frankly I don't know what any of the terms (WAN, LAN, Port, Static IP) mean... But all I know is this from what I gathered: WAN: 71.235.75.62 LAN: 192.168.2.4 media port on dvr: 34567 http port on dvr: 81 IP Address on dvr: 192.168.2.4 Gateway: 192.168.2.1 DNS: same as gateway. houstonr 0 Posted December 22, 2013 UPDATE: So I think I got it to work, but there is still one problem... what I did was since my router is Belkin, I went to my ip address site and port forwarded the media port which in my case was 34567. Now, this works but it only works AFTER I reboot the dvr system. It works for a couple minutes then it goes back to loading or buffering and I keep on having to reboot the system.
