Searching for firmware update for this dvr

Could someone please identify my dvr ?

I'm searching for a firmware update, so i could manage this dvr better.

Can someone help me out?

LOL. Someone asking for a Dahua unit to be identified? You have the manufacturer printed on the front, and you can just search for the sticker on the back, or under your unit, it will say what model it is.

 

From the front, it could be many models. From the screenshot, we can only tell that it is a firmware from 3 years ago (Dec/2010). Maybe a DH-DVR1604LE-A?

I think i'm perhaps explaining my question wrong.

I know its a dahua , what i ment is i can't find a firmware on google for this 16 chan multiplexer.

Perhaps, anyone knows something about this model so i could flash a new firmware ?

But what is your reason for the install of firmware ........ It does not change how you control it control is the same.

 

 

5 types of firmware for that dvr ....... A type c type with or without HDMI and CIF or D1. (Can't go back if load wrong one)

My DVR has a problem connecting to a all smtp servers, i think its a bug in the firmware.

and its nice to know that it has the latest firmware.

 

it has hdmi support. I included the manual, perhaps you could see what version i need?

You need to give the exact model to get the correct firmware; otherwise you might brick the DVR.

 

As an advise, if you do not have a good reason to update the unit, do not do so.
