tejaus 0 Posted December 29, 2013 I came across this video of these new CMOS + DSP cameras. Are they really this good? You can find them for 30.00 or so including ICR filters Story says it was an experiment that worked out really well. CCD+DSP? CMOS+DSP? tejaus 0 Posted December 30, 2013 Did you watch the video in the link? The quality looks pretty darn good for an analog setup.

tejaus 0 Posted December 30, 2013 Nope, not me in the videos nor do I have any affiliation with them or anyone else. I live in Austin TX hence the screen name. Just trying to find out if they really are that good or not since there isn't too much information yet. Mainly the Aptina139 + FH8510 combo. I know CMOS CCTV used to equal cheap and lousy quality. But have they cracked the code so to speak? There are videos from others on Youtube. Here's one Again I don't know them from Adam. I may just have to buy one and decide for myself. joseph.chen0312 0 Posted December 31, 2013 Hello, Actually, FH8520 can applicable in multi brand CMOS senosr, i.e. SONY, OV and APTINA. The ISP is able to convert digital signal to analogue signal. If you want to try you can buy one and put it in whole dark environment to see. Because I got many information for it hang up after long term IR on.
