ZuluCharlie 0 Posted January 2, 2014 I would like to be able to connect two monitors up to my system, displaying different views on each screen - i.e. 8 cameras, 4 per screen Is there an affordable DVR out there that can do this? or will I be better off with 2 X 4 channel DVR's - which obviously has numerous disadvantages. SunnyKim 2 Posted January 3, 2014 Search & buy the DVR supporting 2 monitors' output. Or Buy another separate 4 ch DVR.
AdamDaze 0 Posted January 3, 2014 I believe web-based software can do this, you can login to xprotect as 2 different users for instance in 2 different browsers. EDIT : By web-based, I mean access via a web portal...of course.

chen 0 Posted January 22, 2014 Or you can try the monitor with 4 in 4 out av interface, record and view at same time.
doglasseonhak 0 Posted September 22, 2014 If you just want to use it as a spot monitoring system, you don't need to use DVR, you can just put a small device to a HDMI cabled monitor. Switching different views with 4 per screen and that is connected via wifi and wired connection. You can refer to it here below. also refer to manual and movie if that is a solution you are after. www.ipvista.co
