jeromephone 6 Posted January 11, 2006 I have two PTZ cameras at a cusomers one is about 3 years old and the other is new I have them set at 9600 baud pelco P and they have addresses 1 and two I cannot control them from the same control board but I can hook up a seperate controller enter the address and it works fine. the supplier is willing to send me a new camera but changing them out will not be easy. I could use the geovision box but the customer does not want to do that. Any idea why the two cameras don't work when using the same controller?
scottj 0 Posted January 11, 2006 What controller are you using? Also what DVR controls are you using, brand of DVR etc. What model PTZ's? Scottj
RVRBOY420007 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Sounds like a protocal issue. Definatly need to know what the ptz models are. If the dvr controls one on pelco p and the new ptz works on pelco p then there shouldn't be a problem I would double check the setting and specs.
