Stress Test / Burn In

What you guys doing for stress testing? Using a software utility or just recording video for a while? 24 hous? 48 hours? Thanks.

Wht I do is hook up 4 test cameras that I have setup to the unit, and leave it recording for 24-48 hours.

many free cpu stress type programs on the net...............i stress test for stability and overall temps before i bless them....24hrs saves time hooking up cams, ect.

i test the living heck out of the DVR for 48 hours ... if it was going to crash ... it would ..

kandcorp, Thanks for the link. Looks like an awsome utility. I will definately check it out. Isn't it better to test in Windows so that you know the OS is stable?

 

rory, what do you do to test it?

I don't know if it was a dream, but I remember using Sandra by SiSoftware. This is basically a benchmarking utility, but I swear it had an in-Windows burn-in utility. Might be worth a look.
