Surveillance Tech 0 Posted January 28, 2014 Hey Guys, just wondering what brand of portable monitor you use for testing video at connection points. Currently I am using Tote Vision and CBC Group, but I have recently come across a company called Lilliput that makes some as well. I am needing to buy a new one and just want to make sure I get a solid brand that will last a while. Looking to get a 8-10" screen size and need to be able to hook up coax via BNC to it. Thanks guys! myiicu 0 Posted February 7, 2014 Don't just google. Use the search on this forum for lots of useful information. I use a 5.6" test monitor for my final lens adjustment on the ladder. I've used everything from portable dvd players to 32" lcd tv. Not all IP cameras have a bnc test connection so out comes the laptop, tablet, smart phone... The nicer IP cameras have motorized lens, so adjustments are done by software. I usually test, adjust fov/focus and pre-aim the camera on the ground before I mount the camera.
