Cabot 0 Posted February 1, 2014 Please help! I am sorry if this has been answered before but I can't seem to find any answers. Again sorry for the noob questions but I'm totally stuck and need your help. I just got four AVN813 cameras for home monitoring. I was trying to set them up using the company's iOS software Eagle Eye. What I didn't realize when buying these cameras is that there is no way to save the events they record unless one has an NVR. What is the best solution to have the following: - 4 ANV813 cameras over WiFi - record events to a computer on same network; any special system requirements? - be able to access events from a distance via a laptop and/or iOS device - I was going to buy the BlueIris software but just wanted to run this plan by the experts before I commit; do you think BlueIris would work for my goals? * I'm technically inclined but not experienced in this area so simple solutions are preferred (setup and forget would be ideal) * OS X compatibility would be nice but not a must as I can run Windows as virtual machine * ready to buy additional software/hardware within reasonable $ boundaries
buellwinkle 0 Posted February 1, 2014 I save the events on an microSD card inside the camera, been doing it for a few years, but on an older model.
