I wonder if anyone can help me here I was given a dvr system today, i have set it up (well connected it all up in the kitchen) and linked it into the net etc, i can see the machine online but i can not log into it. I have looked in every menu and sub menu on the box to find something that gives me the option of adding a web access password (im sure you know what i mean if thats not the correct terminology) but there just isnt one to be found. So i present myself to you and ask this, Is there anyway of changing the firmware to one thats a little easier to use and set up? I have looked all over the dvr box itself and there is no make or model number on the box at all. So im stumped I hope this makes sense and hope someone can help many thanks in advance EDIT *** I have since found out that it is a Sentient 4 Channel Network DVR origanly from maplins (uk store) but i can not find any sort of firmware upgrades.
