mike747 0 Posted February 17, 2014 Hi, need some help please. Have a IC Realtime ip cctv system that I installed at my office. It has two ICIP-DIR1300 ip cameras connected to a Breeze 2TB NVR box. All is good when viewing direct on the NVR and the connected monitor, but when viewing remotely via the ICRSS PRO app for iPhone or iPad, the image has jaggerd edges, Like along the straight lines of the camera view. See attached photo taken on the app. Is this normal? Or can I adjust things in the settings to make this look a lot clearer remotely.
varascope 0 Posted February 18, 2014 Are you connecting main stream or sub-stream? Considering you probably paid 3-4 times for a Dahua system by going through IC Realtime, they are not offering support? Try downloading iDMSS in the apple store and see if you get the same result. SunnyKim 2 Posted February 18, 2014 Mike, The camera seems to be analog one. It is supposed to output TV signal which is interlaced video. To remove the jagged artifacts, it should be capable of doing de-interlacing (making progressive) before compressing into bit streams for remote access. The chip may not be designed to do such a mild de-interlacing job. But you can be put up with.
