First home cctv system. Am I making bad components choice?

Hi, I am trying to put together and install my first diy security camera system. Am I making a bad choice with these components? Going to do about 6-8 cameras.

Pricey

 

You could get a 16ch 960H Full Wide D1 + 16 channel IP for that price that comes WITH a 2TB drive OR that exact spec for around $100 less. The Hikvision looks good but the eyeball camera looks very questionable.

 

If your already willing to spend the money go for the 960H cameras and the 3MP IP if you want to mix and match.
