Any remarks on Avigilon and Genetec?

Trying to do some study on Avigilon and other VMSs, and compatibilities.

 

I understand that some cases they use Avigilon cameras with Genetec. Sometimes, I see their End-to-End system. I was assuming that their JPEG2000 codec models, like the 29MP models only worked with ACC.

 

Any pros or cons of using 3rd party VMS? or experiences?
