id5 0 Posted November 1, 2014 ...I am unemployed I just help people with IPC/DVR/NVR now Thanks for your kind words. Start a firm up installing them, there are plenty of cable monkeys who do it but very few who do it right because they do not understand focal length and field of view. You can also add a big charge for tuning the VMS to suit the location etc. What have you go to lose if you are unemployed.
iTuneDVR 2 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) CBX! Great research !!! I have for a long time password generator for hikvision and its algorithm. Reached my hands and quickly sketched a similar batch file but under windows. But I saw one interesting thing !!! Secure codes for my IPC on the date 2014-10-31 and 2014-11-01 are equally reset passwords in default on the telnet session on IPC, and in the program SADP. It's hardly something serious or he would long ago have written to you in PM. He is trying to help you settle in and then hikvision their IPC asks for help. Is it not strange!! Maybe this is another Chinese man tries to gently roll up a little flatter you on the forum!!!

JacobBushnell 0 Posted January 19, 2015 How long does it normally take get a reset password? I have two dome Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I that got locked up after a power outage. They BOTH no longer allow me to login, but they both show up using the SADP software. Default passwords do not work. I tried emailing the password reset request to Hikvision a week ago but not response so far.
buellwinkle 0 Posted January 19, 2015 What I found is that if you use TFTP to load new firmware, it resets the password, so try that.
JacobBushnell 0 Posted January 19, 2015 Thank you, that worked! I had some trouble finding the proper tool since the download link on the Hikvision site did not work for me. I finally found on here on a Russian site toward the end of the page: http://bas-tion.ru/poleznye-stati/21-ds-2sd2612f-i-s-review Search the page for: "TFTP Automatic Update Tool" once updated, the camera responded perfectly. Lychmaster 0 Posted April 13, 2015 I have this DVR which has a password that I don't know... tryed to get a reset code, but had no response. Tryed to PM CBX, but the board won't let me... Can someone help me? Tnx!
JacobBushnell 0 Posted April 13, 2015 Did you try the TFTP Automatic Update Tool that we used for the cameras? It might also work with the DVR since the remote access interface is identical I am guessing they use the same code system to control the security access. Smoghog 0 Posted April 6, 2016 Hey, I'm stuck with the same problem. I set the password, but then had a power outage when going through the rest of the setup. Now I can't log in with the password I set, the default, or leaving it blank.. I have SADP installed, but need a reset code. Can you help me, too? My serial: DS-7608NI-E2/8P0820160224AARR576688843WCVU for April 6th, 2016 shows up on the cameras, but I can't be sure the date took in the NVR before the outage..
