RichTJ99 0 Posted January 15, 2006 Hi, I am still in the testing phase with my CCTV setup. I was thinking about mounting a camera on the "roof" of my front porch. It would probably make it so that the camera was upside down (mount is on the bottom & if I drill it into the ceiling, the camera is pointing the right direction, but is upside down). Can this be done? I am also wondering if a camera is mounted slightly crooked, if you can adjust how geovision displays the camera (if it is tilted while mounted to the side of a building, can you straighten the image via software)? Thanks, Rich
rory 0 Posted January 15, 2006 Nope, cant be done by the current software. Some cameras have that built in, such as some OSD version cameras. Rory
RichTJ99 0 Posted January 15, 2006 Ahh, so make sure you mount it pointing the right way is the best way to go then. Do they make universal mounting brackets that can go any way you want? Is there a "standard" bracket size?
Securitymaster 0 Posted January 15, 2006 Most cameras have a screw or hole for the mount on both sides, you sure that yours doesn't have it?
